Imbolc Stirrings

I was drawn outside in the wake of some heavy rain. Everything was so still ... calm before the August winds.

The sun is shining brighter everyday, slowly but surely gaining strength, warming the earth.

Stirrings in the belly of the goddess. She is awakening as the maiden and the mother, rejuvenated and youthful, ready to nurture the new life.

Slowly unfurling toward the warm sun.

Blessed be xo

I guess I need to move to Australia! All my favorite mamas seem to live in your country, drats! Did I stumble into some bizarre Aussie blogger ring by accident? Oh why can't you just be closer? I'd love to have someone to share Imbolc with, except we are preparing for Lammas in my neck of the woods. And by we I mean me, all alone over here in New York (not the city either!)

Blessings,

ps Free starts school in September (if I send him)

Kat: How about we meet halfway ;)? LOL! That's what I love about the internet; it's easy to find like-minded folk and build something of a 'network'.

ps Long live homeschool *wink wink nudge nudge* Hahaha!
